1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pod2Reels ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Pod2Reels is an AI-powered platform that helps content creators convert YouTube videos into short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, TikToks). The Service uses publicly available YouTube transcripts, AI analysis, and video processing to identify and generate viral moments from videos you provide.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in via Google (Firebase Authentication) to use the core features. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must provide accurate information and must be at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Credits and Billing

The Service uses a credit system. New accounts receive 50 free credits (1 credit = 30 seconds of video processed). Paid packages grant additional credits as described at checkout. Credits are non-transferable and tied to your account.

Free accounts: clips are generated with a "pod2reels.com" watermark. Paid accounts: clips are generated without a watermark. The specific credit amounts and pricing for each package are displayed on the pricing page and at checkout.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit YouTube videos for which you do not have the necessary rights, licences, or permissions to process and clip
  • Use the Service to infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Use the Service to mass-republish or systematically re-distribute another creator's content without their permission, even where technically accessible
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape the platform, or automate requests beyond normal use
  • Use the Service to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or harmful
  • Resell or sublicence access to the Service without our written permission

6. Content Ownership & Copyright

Your representations

By submitting a URL for processing, you represent and warrant that you own the submitted content or have obtained all necessary rights, licences, and permissions — including from the original creator where applicable — to (a) submit it for processing through the Service, and (b) create, download, and distribute derivative clips from it. It is solely your responsibility to verify this before submitting any URL.

Your responsibility for output use

You are solely responsible for how you use, publish, or distribute the clips generated by the Service. This includes compliance with applicable copyright law and with the terms of service of any third-party platform — including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others — from which the source content was taken or to which the clips are posted. Pod2Reels has no visibility into or control over how you distribute generated clips once they are downloaded.

No ownership claim by Pod2Reels

Pod2Reels does not claim ownership of any content you submit or of the clips generated from it. We act solely as a processing tool at your direction. By using the Service you grant Pod2Reels a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your submitted content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence ends when processing is complete.

Pod2Reels does not permanently host or distribute your source video. Raw video segments are fetched transiently for clip processing and discarded immediately after. Generated clips are stored in your account for a reasonable period to allow download; they are not made publicly accessible by Pod2Reels without your action.

Third-party platform terms

Downloading or processing content from YouTube or other platforms may be subject to that platform's own terms of service (including YouTube's Terms of Service). Pod2Reels is not a party to those terms and does not enforce them. It is your responsibility to ensure your use of the Service complies with any applicable third-party platform terms.

Right to remove and suspend

Pod2Reels reserves the right to remove any processed content or generated clips and to suspend or terminate any account if we receive a credible copyright infringement claim or if we reasonably believe the submitted content violates these Terms.

7. DMCA & Takedown

Pod2Reels respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent applicable laws. If you believe that content accessible through or generated by the Service infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our Designated Agent containing all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., the relevant account or job reference)
  • Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner

On receipt of a complete and valid notice, we will: (a) promptly remove or disable access to the identified material, (b) notify the account holder, and (c) may suspend the associated account pending investigation. We will also implement a repeat-infringer policy and may permanently terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Counter-notices may be submitted to the same address. Submitting a false or bad-faith takedown notice may expose you to liability under the DMCA or applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pod2Reels, its founders, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) content you submit for processing; (b) your use or distribution of generated clips; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) any infringement of copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or proprietary right by you. Pod2Reels reserves the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence of that matter.

9. Intellectual Property

The Pod2Reels platform, brand, and all original code and content are owned by Pod2Reels and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of Pod2Reels' intellectual property to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that clips will meet any particular quality standard. AI-identified moments may not always match your expectations — this is inherent to AI-based selection.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pod2Reels shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account by contacting us. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited unless otherwise required by law or our Refund Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
