An episode this long yields roughly 9 clips with Pod2Reels.
Try Pod2Reels — auto-cut clips from your podcastA podcast planning template covers pre-production, not just structure: guest details, ad breaks, a release slot, and a prep checklist, laid over the same timed segment engine as our script template — so the running length recalculates automatically as you plan, something a static Notion or Asana board can't do for you.
Just need the timed segment structure?
If you don't need the guest block or prep checklist, the podcast script template covers the same segment/timing engine on its own. For interview questions to fill your guest block, browse the interview question bank.
Once the episode is recorded, format the transcript or write the show notes before you publish.
What's the difference between a podcast planning template and a script template?
A template is a blank you fill in; this is a planner that does the math. Both start from the same timed-segment structure, but this planner adds the pre-production layer a script template doesn't need: who the guest is, where the ad breaks sit, when the episode goes out, and whether you're actually ready to hit record — while the running time recalculates as you edit.
Why use an interactive planner instead of a Notion or Asana template?
A static board tracks tasks; it doesn't know how long your episode runs. Move a segment, add an ad break, or change your target length here and the running total, the clip-yield estimate, and the progress bar all update immediately — a general-purpose board would need you to do that math yourself, every time you edit.
Does adding an ad break actually affect my episode length?
Yes — an ad break is a segment with its own duration like any other, so it counts toward the running total and the target-length progress bar exactly the way a content segment does. That's the point: a 45-minute target with two untracked ad breaks quietly becomes a 47-minute episode if nothing accounts for them.
Is my plan saved if I close the tab?
No, and that's intentional — nothing here touches localStorage, a database, or any server. The plan lives in the page for as long as it's open; export it as Markdown, .txt, or a printed PDF before you navigate away if you want to keep it.
Can I use this for a solo or co-hosted show, not just interviews?
Yes — pick any of the five formats (Interview, Solo, Co-hosted, Narrative, Panel) and the segment structure and length range adjust to match. The guest block is most useful for Interview and Panel episodes, but it stays available either way in case you want to note a co-host or contributor.
